Kiosk mode allows for a few different item types, one of which is weighted items. Weighted items are items with a price per ounce.
How to Set Up a Weighted item:
For setting up a Weighted item:
1. After selecting the menu item type as Weighted, you will be prompted to enter your Default price per ounce and the Tare Weight.
2. Weighted Items will show a price per ounce in the cart. The weight of the item will be the scale's weight minus the Tare Weight.

How to Use Kiosk with Weighted Items:
If a scale is connected to the register, you can select a weighted item.
1. Tap the Weighted item.
Note: Weighted items will not appear on the kiosk page if no scale is connected. (Weighted items will still appear in Register mode)
2. Tap Weight Item.
3. After weighing the item, select Add to Cart and proceed with the checkout process.

Note: When no item is on the scale, you will be notified with the message "cannot charge zero weight, please try again".
