Routing Groups control what gets printed and on what printer. This article will explain how to add a print group to a printer. Before you can add a print group to a printer on the terminal, you must create the print group in Manager (manager.bypassmobile.com). To learn how to create and assign Print Groups to menu items, click here
1. Tap the Register screen.
2. Tap the 3-dot menu (upper right).
3. Tap Devices.
4. Tap the checkbox next to each appropriate print group. All menu items that are assigned to that print group will be routed through this routing station if the checkbox is checked.
- Register Routing Groups will print for any orders made with the Register screen
- Kiosk Routing Groups will print for any orders made in Kiosk
- Remote Routing Groups will print for any orders made remotely (for example, from Mobile Ordering)
5. Save Routing Group changes.
- The Save Routing Groups button will appear green once a change has been made. You will need to press Save Routing Groups to save your changes.
Note: Clicking Test Print will also save the routing group changes.
- If you do not hit save and navigate away from the devices page, a pop-up stating that the Routing Groups have not been saved will appear on the top-right corner of the screen.
- After you select Save Routing Groups you will get a pop-up stating the changes have been saved.
- If you navigate to another page within devices, you will also get a pop-up stating that the changes did not save.
- Saving routing groups also appear on the Kitchen Display Systems (KDS) devices page. The same rules apply here, you must hit Save Routing Groups before navigating away from the page.
6. Repeat for all stationary devices in this Location.
