After you enable Kiosk at a Location, Clover Sport will audit all items at that location. This is to ensure you're aware of any items missing an image or print group.
This article will explain how to correct any errors that come up with Print Group or Image warnings.
Any Location that has any Items without a Print Group or Image will show an error message with the number of items affected.
Validate Item Print Groups
Print Groups are used to route a particular menu item to an appropriate Kitchen or Bar printer for remote fulfillment.
If an Item does NOT have a Print Group, then it will NOT be printed on the chit/ticket, meaning it will not route to the printer in the kitchen.
To validate that print groups are added to every relevant menu item,
1. Click Update to see what items do not have Print Groups.
2. Select the appropriate Print Group from the dropdown menu.
3. Once you have validated all items, click Save.
Attaching Images to Items
Menu items with Images are more likely to grab a customer's attention on the Kiosk. You may also select a blue icon to display if you have no images ready for upload.
Please note that menu items can still be sold on the Kiosk if there is no menu image or icon attached, but instead display with a gray and black icon.
In the example below, the 12oz Modelo has no image or icon added to the menu item.
To add images to the menu items from the list,
1. Click the Update button to view all Items that don't have images.
2. Click Select Image to choose either an icon or upload a unique image. (Actual pictures tend to increase sales).
3. Click Upload Image and choose the appropriate file. For the best quality display, the image must be 880 x 495 pixels. If the file is too large you will be required to crop it to the size needed.
