Clover Sport recommends that all order takers log out of the device at the end of the event.
Why is Logging Out Recommended?
Logging out prevents unauthorized access to the device and prompts the order taker to review any un-synced orders.
However, if the software is not manually logged out, it is designed to automatically log-out in the middle of the night.
Auto-logout occurs when using each of the following apps:
- Access and Server Station - software that runs on the Station Duo
- Anywhere - software that runs on the Flex
- Kiosk - software that runs on both the Station Duo and Large Format Kiosk
How Does Auto-Logout work?
If there are no un-synced orders on the device, it automatically logs out nightly.
If there are un-synced orders on the device, the software prohibits the auto-log out to prevent lost sales.
If you attempt to log out with un-synced orders, you are notified with a message: Overnight logout prevented due to un-synced orders. Please sync device to continue.
How to Sync Offline Orders?
Flex
- Ensure the device has a secure internet connection.
- Tap the circle button.
- Swipe down with your finger on the screen or tap the circular arrow icon.
Station Duo
- Ensure the device has a secure internet connection.
- From the Home Screen, tap Orders.
- Tap Offline.
- Swipe down with your finger on the screen or tap Sync.
