Clover Sport allows for full order Discounts and individual item Discounts. This article explains how to add and remove Discounts on the register.

Order Level Discounts
To apply a Discount to the entire order,
1. Once on the Checkout Screen, tap Apply Discounts to see the available Discounts.
2. Select from the available Discounts that appear on screen.

Note: A Location's Discount Groups control the available Discounts in blue.
Tapping on these set Discounts add it to the order, while tapping on Custom allows you to add a percentage or dollar discount of your choice. - Note: The Sales Reports can help to monitor Discount usage. If you'd like to prevent a cashier from using a Discount without a Manager approval, update their Roles and Permissions.
3. Order level Discounts appear above the remaining balance.
To remove an order level Discount, tap Remove Discount.
Line Item Discounts
To add a Discount to an individual item,
1. Tap on the item in the cart while on the Checkout Screen.

2. Line Item Discounts appear under the item.
3. To remove the Discount from the line item, tap the item again and tap Remove.
