This article explains how to use Clover Sport's Split Credit feature to accept two different payment methods on a single order.

How to Enable Split Credit
The Split Credit button is enabled by default at any Location where Credit is enabled as a payment method. To learn how to enable Credit at a Location, click here.
Pay with Two Credit Cards
- Tap Split Credit.
- Input the amount you would like to charge on the first credit card.
- If the Location allows for tips, the guest is prompted to tip.
- Next, the guest inserts/taps/swipes their credit card.
- Once the first portion has been paid, tap Credit.
- Follow steps 3-4 to complete the transaction with the second credit card.
Pay with a Credit Card and a House Account
- Tap Split Credit.
- Input the amount you would like to charge on the first credit card.
- If the Location allows for tips, the guest is prompted to tip.
- Next, the guest inserts/taps/swipes their credit card.
- Once the first portion has been paid, tap Account.
- Select the House Account on the left you would like to close the order to.
- The remaining balance is closed to the House Account. If you accept tips at the Location, the guest is prompted to apply a tip. For more information on House Accounts, click here.
Pay with a Credit Card and Stored Value
- Tap Split Credit.
- Input the amount you would like to charge on the first credit card.
- If the Location allows for tips, the guest is prompted to tip.
- Next, the guest inserts/taps/swipes their credit card.
- Once the first portion has been paid, tap Stored Value.
- If there is more than one stored value payment at the venue, select the correct pre-configured Stored Value Partner. Otherwise, proceed to step 7.
- The guest scans the card or QR code using the external barcode scanner.
- If there are sufficient funds on the Stored Value card, the remaining balance is charged. If tips are configured for the Location, the guest may add a tip or skip.
Pay with a Credit Card and Custom Tender
To pay with a Credit Card and Custom Tender, it is not required to use Split Credit. You may simply apply the Custom Tender first, and then charge the remaining balance to the credit card.

Pay with Cash and Credit
To pay with Cash and Credit, it is not required to use Split Credit. You may simply tap Cash and input the cash amount being used, then tap Credit and finish the transaction.
