Clover Sport tracks inventory perpetually by associating a Recipe with a Modifier. As you sell your Menu Items and the associated Modifiers at the register, the Stock Items within the Recipe are deducted from your inventory counts at that Location in real time, as long as your Recipe is attached to the Modifier.

Best Practices
When setting up a Recipe for a Menu Item or Modifier, ensure the component that holds the price contains the Recipe with the chargeable Stock Item, especially when using Standsheets.
Never include the same Stock Item in both Recipes that are attached a connected Modifier and Menu Item. This will cause a double deduction of that item from the stand as well as double variance on your Standsheets.
For example, if you include the plastic cup for a cocktail in both the Menu Item's Recipe and the liquor Modifier's Recipe, when you tap the Menu Item and the Modifier on the register, the cup will be deducted twice from your inventory.
