Employees are digital representations of cashiers and order takers in Clover Sport. Anyone that needs to be able to log in to the register (both Station Duo & Flex) will need an Employee profile created.
Note: Each user will need its own unique login. Shared logins are not permitted.

How to Create Employees
The Employees section is used to manage usernames and passwords needed for logging into the Flex and Station Duos.
- Note: Even if you have an Administrator profile to log into manager.bypassmobile.com, you will still need an Employee profile to log into the device.
To create a new Employee account,
1. Navigate to Labor > Employees.
2. Click Create.
3. Enter the following information:
Required:
-
Default Location - The Default Location is utilized on the Station Duo when the user logs in. If the device itself is not assigned a Default Location, the Employee Default Location will be on top of the selection list when the user logs in.
In other words, the Default Location assigned to the Station Duo overrides the Employee's assigned Default Location.
-
Username - The username that is associated with the user and shows up in reporting. U
-
Note: Because each username exists throughout the entire database, Clover Sport recommends to create a unique identifier for your employee usernames that corresponds to your venue name.
For example: (shortened venue name)(first initial)(last name),
-Venue: The Big Stadium
-Employee: James Smith
-Username: tbsjsmith
-
Note: Because each username exists throughout the entire database, Clover Sport recommends to create a unique identifier for your employee usernames that corresponds to your venue name.
-
Password - The password that the user types in when logging into the device.
-
PIN - The pin number is used by upper management to authorize an action on the device that a user with lower role permissions does not have the privilege to do such as a refund or void
- Note: Roles are customizable based on the venue's preferences.
Optional but highly recommended:
- Employee Name - the actual name of the Employee or the name of the generic Employee such as the stand name
-
Role - the Role assigned to the user controls the actions they can perform on the register without needing PIN authorization
-
Note: If you do not assign a Role to an Employee profile, the employee with that Role will need pin authorization to perform every action on the register.
For more information about Roles, review the Creating and Managing Roles article.
-
Note: If you do not assign a Role to an Employee profile, the employee with that Role will need pin authorization to perform every action on the register.
How to Assign User Cards
User cards allow employees and managers to swipe a card (on the Flex) or use a generated QR (on a Station Duo) at the login screen instead of typing in their associated username and password.
1. To add a new user card to an Employee navigate to Labor > Employees. Click on an employee to open the edit panel. Scroll down to the User Card section and click Add User Card.
2. Enter an expiration date. You will know the card is attached when you see the serial number and expiration date listed.
If you need to order more Employee Cards or a Card Scanner contact our Clover Sport Product Support team at support@bypassmobile.com.
