Whether using the Large Format Kiosk or the Dual Mode Kiosk, use this article as a guide to enable and configure Kiosk settings at a Location.
Enable Kiosk
To enable Kiosk at a Location,
1. Navigate to Kiosk on the left-hand panel.
2. Click Enable Kiosk.
3. Select the Location(s). Click Next.
Kiosk Status
Toggle on the Kiosk Status for the Kiosk app to appear on the home page when logging into that Location.
Configure Kiosk Settings
Location Settings
You may customize the image that appears on the Kiosk Welcome Screen.
1. Click Select Image.
2. Once you select your image, click Upload Image.
For the best visual clarity, please use an image that is 1080 x 1080 pixels.
If you do not select your own image, the default image appears:
Large Format Kiosk (no scanner detected)
Dual Mode Kiosk (scanner detected)
Order Pick-up Settings
Depending on your operation, fill out Pick-up Instructions to display on the screen when a guest completes their order.
You may be detailed with your instructions, or simply display a thank you message.
After the order has been paid for, the Pick-up Instructions and Order Number display:
Receipt Settings
Printed Receipts
There are three options for printed receipts on DM and LF Kiosk:

Option 1: Auto-print all receipts
When auto-print Kiosk receipts is toggled on, a receipt prints for every order closed on the kiosk. -
Option 2: Provide guest option to print receipts
When auto-print Kiosk receipts is toggled off, a print receipt button appears after the order is closed as long as Hide print receipt button is also off. -
Option 3: No printed receipts at all
When auto-print Kiosk receipts is toggled off, you may choose to hide the print receipt button by toggling on Hide print receipt button. This means that no receipts auto-print and there is no option for the guest to print a receipt.
Text Receipts
Text receipts are available on DM & LF Kiosk. If Enable text receipts for Kiosk is toggled on, a text receipt option appears after the order is closed.
Below is an example of a print receipt button and a text receipt button.
In this Location, Option 2 for printed receipts is set up:
Auto-print Kiosk receipts is toggled off and Hide print receipt button is toggled off. Text receipts are on.
Alcohol Policy
A menu item can be marked as an alcoholic item, which allows you to limit how many alcoholic beverages can be ordered per person (order). The default alcoholic beverage limit on Kiosk is 2 if the Max alcoholic items per order field is left blank.
You may also customize the Alcoholic Item Display Message. The message appears when a guest taps a menu item marked as an Alcoholic Item.
Location Menu Settings
A menu item that has been marked as Scan-only item can be hidden from view on the Kiosk menu screen, which means the only way to add that item to the cart is by scanning its barcode.
When Hide scan-only menu items is on, all "scan-only" items are hidden from view on the Kiosk menu screen. This also means that the scan-only items may not be searched for in the menu item search.
IMPORTANT STEP:
Once you have saved this setting, navigate to POS Manager > Locations and select the Location where you expect the items to be hidden from Kiosk. Click Save.
This will ensure this is updated for your venue.
Save
To finalize your settings, click Save. You can always come back and change these settings later.
Menu Images and Print Groups
Once you've enabled a Location, Clover Sport will audit any Items that are connected to that Location to check if there are any missing Images or Print Groups.
