When you print an order chit, it displays key order information. How and what information is displayed on the chit depends on several factors including: Location configuration, printer type (Thermal vs. Impact), and the mode on the device in which the order inputted on the device.
This article explains what details to expect.
Customer Name
Service Location
A Service Location can be set up when you are operating one of the following Location Types:
- Concession Stand with In-Seat Ordering: Section, Row, Seat, Flex only
- Commissary (Suites) with Suites, Flex and Station Duo
- Restaurant with Tables, Flex and Station Duo
If you are running a Remote Fulfillment operation for any of these Location types, it is important to use the correct mode on the Station Duo and Flex device to ensure that the Service Location prints out on the ticket.
Station Duo: You must start your order in Server Station to select a Service Location and have it print on the chit/ticket.
Flex: You must start your order in Ordering Mode and select a Service Location and have it print on the chit/ticket.

When an order is submitted with a Service Location, it appears on a printed ticket:
Order Number
When a chit prints, the Order ID will be displayed at the top. You can match this ID with the Order number in Clover Sport Manager.
Date and Time
The time and date the order is placed will be printed at the top.
Customer Name
The Customer Name field can be utilized when Digital Receipt Notifications & Pick Up Instructions are enabled for a Location.
When these Settings are enabled, the Cashier or Guest (if using Kiosk) will be prompted to input their name and phone number when placing their order. If the name field is skipped, No Customer Name will print on the chit.
Item Details
In the center of the chit will be the items of the order.
Item Quantity - The quantity of the item will be listed on the left surrounded by parentheses (#)
Item Name - The name of the item as it appears on the register will print to the right of the quantity
Modifiers - Any item modifiers will appear indented under the item
Special Instructions - If any special instructions are added to an item they will appear indented under the item surrounded with asterisks **
Order Details
At the bottom of the chit will be some order details.
Server - Name of the order taker that placed the order
Order Source - Device the order was made on
Station - Name of the register the order was placed on
Venue - Name of the business as listed in Bypass Manager
Location - The Location that the Station was logged into
Special Instructions
If an order is placed on a Flex (handheld device) the field for Order Special Instructions.
These instructions will appear as they are typed on the mobile register.
QR Code with Thermal Printers
Thermal Printers can add QR codes to chits to allow for easy order searching. The currently supported Thermal Printers are:
- Epson TM - T88VI Thermal
- StarIO - TSP143III LAN, TSP143IV LAN, TSP743II Thermal, TSP100 LAN
